Pietro D’aietti was born in Lampedusa in 1983.
From an early age he developed his creative flare moving him towards the world of the Arts, paying particular attention to the fields of painting and sculpture.
Throughout his life, Pietro, has explored many different aspects of art and enjoys experimenting with new styles and techniques.
His constantly evolving curiosity helps drive his search for new approaches like mixing ink and paint alongside materials found in the household, such as charcoal, wine, coffee and spices.
Behind his careful pictorial reflections he loves to portray the solitude of his upbringing as well as the battles of anguish within each and everyone of us whilst we try to find the right balance in the world and the cosmos. By displaying surreal stories of bodies, faces, flowers and boats he confidently turns his violent and absurd work into a sort of painted poetry full of hope, joy and peace.

Nella sua attenta riflessione pittorica ,Ama raccontare la solitudine del suo porto,e vede la battaglia come angoscia in ciascuno di noi,
per ritrovare
il giusto ecquilibrio nel mondo e nel cosmo.
Corpi ,volti,fiori,barche, storie di un pensiero surreale avvolte violento o assurdo tal volta fiducioso e piena di gioia,
arte che si fonde in poesia amore e speranza e pace.
